Uggh-1 baby and contractions have stopped

Thanks everyone. Swallowtail is bright and alert this morning. Sadly her little boy passed on this afternoon. I am just very thankful that mom is doing well so far.

I'm glad she's doing so well this early on. That's always good! My little girl, who required an emergency spay this week, is doing well, too. She's eating and nursing her babies. (They're 8 weeks old, but if she's okay with nursing them and she keeps eating..yay.)

update-

Swallowtail is doing awesome. We moved her unto shavings. She is still getting antibiotics-will probably be on those for another 4 days. Eating/drinking/pooing/peeing normally.

Her baby is doing very well. She weighed 52 on Thursday and is now weighing 65 grams.

I am very pleased with the outcome of these two. I may have lost two of her babies but I am very grateful mom and her 1st lil one are doing exceptionally well.

Excellent! I'm so glad that she's eating on her own. The worst part is when you have to hand feed a mama like that several times a day because she's nursing and needs extra everything. Once you're done with antibiotics she'll eat even more.

YAY! This was a great way to start off looking over the new posts on CnH. I'm just so happy she's doing well, Jess. (I'm just always in need of good news, I suppose!)

glad mom and baby are doing well. sorry for your loss but at least these two are making it well so far. good thing you were there paying attention this situation might have been a lot worse.

That is wonderful news Jessica. My pc has been down for a couple days and I came in this morning to check for an update. Made my morning. You'll have to take a picture of the little one.
Your nice beige girl suprised me Saturday morning with a nice standard kit. I'll have to post a thread and a pic too.
