Uggh-1 baby and contractions have stopped

Well one of my girlies is in labor or was in labor. She's had 1 baby 1.5 hrs ago and I no longer see anymore contractions and I feel at least 1 more kit in her. Off to the vet I go. Awesome (hint of sarcasm there).

didn't have to go. She just had another kit. Tiny little boy weighing 30 grams..that only means there is more coming. She's had a litter of triplets before and her daughter just had quads. This family has big litters. So far a little girl weighing 52 grams, a boy weighing 30 grams, and.....

That's good! I'm glad that you didn't have to go. It's strange how sometimes they go so long between the first and second kit. After about 45 minutes without the second kit coming out I'm usually getting a carrier ready. The real problem is when you know there is a kit there and the contractions stop. I hope she gets to the third kit much sooner for you.

just got back from the vet. Swallowtail ended up with a c-section. Her third kit had passed away in utero.

So I ended up with a black female, standard male, and a gorgeous deceased black male.

Mom is still recovering. The standard male is not looking to hot so we will see.

I'm alright Susan, bummed out. She is the one that produced my baby Cinnabar so I was really anxious about this litter. The little boy looks like he has some brain damage. He's been circling since he was born. He's hanging on though so time will tell.

Aww Jessica. I was saddened to read through your post regarding Swallowtail. I will include prayers for her and the kits. I hope it brightens your day that I am pleased to have one of her daughters here. Oksana is my sweet girl. And of course most beautiful!
