What ever happened to my wood chin the traveler?

Still traveling! I've seen pictures of them on facebook recently. I think Aimee had them?

So, anyone who is interested...shoot me an email with your name, username and address!

I'll fill a medium flat rate box with Jimmy and some toys/chinnie supplies. We can even put in some medical supplies or whatever you'd like that is chinchilla related and useful. Then, when you get the package, take pictures of Jimmy doing whatever, take an item and put one chinchilla related item back. When Jimmy is ready to be sent on, I'll send the current "caregiver" the list of names for them to pick the next recipient then that person's address for Jimmy-bean to be sent on.

Cool, I was hoping it did not end up in the garbage can!

Dawn, GeeGee the Geocaching Chinchilla has made 2 international tours. She is a little worse for the wear, since we are supposed to take pictures of our chinnies with her, and some of them have given her a love nibble or two!!!

At one of her stops, she acquired a small hand carved male chinnie baby that we christened Geo, and he travels with his mom. They both have acquired some clothing and accessories for the various climes that they have visited.

I think that after they complete their current tour of Canada there was talk of retiring GeeGee and returning her to you. Baby Geo would be old enough to travel on his own. ;)

You have my info, Tab.
There needs to be a photo limit (5 perhaps?) and that should include a picture of the "caregiver" with the item they chose out of the box.
Those signing up need to be sure they will participate and if things change, be sure to let Tab know so she can take your name off the list no biggie. Participants also need to be willing to pay a little extra for tracking on the package, don't you think? Don't want little JB (Jimmy Bean) getting lost all by his lonesome!

I do not! You have to send it to me again :p I need an address book or something...I keep deleting my PM's!

I think that's a good idea about the tracking, Laura. So anyone that wants in needs to be ok with shipping a medium flat rate box and paying a bit extra for tracking, just so we can make sure he stays safe! If anyone wants off the list with this new information, just email or PM me.

The list is getting bigger! I'll have JB in the mail by the end of the week to someone! I'll post when I have him in the mail and then we'll see where he pops up! :D Should be fairly fun and don't be afraid to add medical supplies to replace chinnie items you take from the box! This will be a fun way to get supplies to people who need/want them while giving a little back.

Tab you better have me on the list! I want to smooch travelling Jimmy since I can't smooch the real thing!

Laurie, if you come to the ECBC National Meeting in Ft. Collins, CO in November (5-7 AND I will be more than happy to return the favor and pick YOU up at the Denver Int'l. Airport  ), you can smooch the REAL Little Jimmy!!! I'll be bringing him and Little Two Paws (hopefully bonded by then) for Tabitha to see!!!

Laurie! I don't have your address you crazy woman!

Lynn...would you be able to pick up other weary travelers from the airport? :neener: I don't want to take the shuttle again this year. I plan on arriving early on Friday and leaving in the evening on Sunday.

Lynn, that's pretty dang tempting BUT I vowed to make it to Nationals, visit Peggy again and visit Crysta! If I win the lottery though, I'll be there!

Ahahaaaaa I love pic two. This is like the chinchilla version of Flat Stanley. I think a story about what fj was doing at your house/city would be cute. Doesn't have to be realistic. My friends got a friend's child's flat stanley and took him ****** tonking. There were some funny pictures taken that didn't make the report back to the child but it was fun!

Woohoo I am in! I sent you my info :) I will be in Hawaii from
Aug 19th-Aug 29th so if my name pops up he needs to make it to me before (hey he can come with me!) I leave or after but not during, or else he will get lonely sitting in a box

I've got you on the list Suzi! Anyone else that emailed or PMed me and I responded, you're also on the list. If you've sent me an email and I didn't respond, please send it again just to make sure I get the info!

If you have extra medical supplies or want to add something small, I think it would be a great tribute to everything Jimmy has been through! Other than that...ANYTHING chinchilla related can go in the box! Jewelry, toys, food, treats, dust, etc. ;)
