Well, let me take him for his one month follow up, see what the results are (when I demand X Rays), and go from there.

He really hates me so much at this point. He won't even come out to play anymore cause he knows what's coming. And he just sits in his little boat house on the very top level all day and pouts. He was still almost his usually energetic self before the vet, even with the pain. Now, he has no spunk, and seems so sad.

Malo is a very hard issue to deal with. There's been a few of us recently who have put down chins for teeth problems. Even though he has the things to keep his teeth "healthy" it may not be environmental in his case, but genetic. And malo is definitely not a 'fixable' disease, just a prolongable one. If he's not thriving on the care he's receiving, you might want to start thinking about things from his perspective. I by no means am saying the care is bad, some chins just don't handle the constant attention well.

Can you confine him to a small carrier for a few days? It wouldn't ordinarily be good because of the plastic, but if he is not chewing on things right now, then it would not be an issue.
Here is chilli with his meds a week after the filing.
