We had three medium eb kits born three weeks ago. Out of the litter this is the girl that we are going to keep. Her brother and sister have fur that is more muddy/red and their conformation isn't as nice.

As of today this little girl is going to stay here but we don't have a name. She is 81 grams and growing fast! She is also one of the calmest chins I have ever seen she just sat still for these pics... amazing. LOL

Thanks! She is just so cute I couldn't help but share. :)

Let us know what you choose for her name

I really have no idea what to name her. Her mom's name is Buttercup and the dad is Shadow.(which thinking back should have been Wesley..lol)

She is a wonderful looking kit, but just remember it is FAR too early to judge any qualities in her or her siblings. Give them all time to grow, and then if it is for breeding start thinking about who is a keeper at 6 months or so. This is all baby fur, their clarity of color could easily flip flop once their adult fur comes along with a multitude of other things.

Very true..her siblings just don't have her body/shoulders which actually the bigger reason we are keeping her over the other two. She takes after mom which I like, dad is a bit on the small side (which is who the siblings seem to take after). We are on limited space here and I can't keep everything that is born, which is one reason I was so happy she was nice looking so young.

To me that begs the question why are you adding to your breeding herd if you already lack space?

Really nice looking kit! Jeff many of us who work hard on our chins know that there are people looking for an animal that compliments what their animal may or may not have. And her kits may have that quality for someone else. And all of us who do this as a "hobby" keep our numbers very small or don't breed at all. Not picking on you by any means. However I understand the "space" limits.
