I didn't bother posting to the video as some of the people on there were a bit too rabid for me and it would have turned into a war (as it has in the past with certain folks). Instead, I sent them an email and asked them to join CnH. That's what a forum is supposed to do, isn't it? Educate? Not go around posting zingers to videos and so on because they can hide behind their computer and chortle. I thought several of those comments were just stupid.

Agreed. People on the internet get feisty over nothing, they don't even read or pay attention to the situation and make rude comments.

The most unfortunate thing about all of this is that people were upset with the girls, when they obviousy just bought everything that the pet store told them too. People assume that the pet store they are getting their animal from has some knowledge about what you need for your pet, and as we all know, that is completely wrong. I would love to find some way to educate the pet stores in proper chinchilla care, but unfortunately most of them just don't care, they are trying to make a sale.

I find it interesting that this thread started by critisizing the video. And has thusly turned into critisizing the people critisizing the video in the begining and pet stores. Its interesting from the psycological stand point at the very least. ((sorry I have a psych exam Monday so my brain is soaked in it, my friends hate it too!))

Ugh, I'm taking psych too, it was really bad after I read through all the Freud crap. About every 5 minutes I'd be like "Oh my gosh, Freudian slip?! How was your relationship with your mother?" Even though I actually disagree with a lot of what Freud said, about girls anyway. That reminds me, I have a psych paper to write... :hammer:

He actually said he had no clue about women- they totally confused him! (I love Freud- I'm a dork) Try Lacan his views on women are awesome seriously he says we control all essentially!

But yeah back to the thread, it is interesting how this has changed to looking at the people doing the major mean criticizing. It looks like the girls were just misinformed about what to get. Hopefully they since read more about chins and made some changes, name calling just makes people less likely to listen.
