I have talked about him a few times in chat and thought I would share a couple of images of the "new boy." He is a rescue that I took in about 7-8 weeks ago. He spent his first 4 weeks completely defensive.
In the last week he has started to learn to trust a bit more and has started to open up. I was very surprised that he allowed me to get face shots. His ears are looking a lot better, they had nearly 1/2 inch dirt fingers on them (you can still see a piece of it in the one image). I'm hoping that they will eventually smooth on out.
You'll also notice I don't mention a name. He was named Sonic, and I refuse to believe his name is really Sonic, he reacts to it negatively. I'm a firm believer if given time they will tell you their name, I think we are close to that point now.
The second image he wasn't too amused of me taking photos anymore. He was trying to snuggle on my husband's shoulder. He has learned that snuggling is kinda nice.
