What is the singularly best thing you have ever purchased/made for your chinchilla(s)?


I am not making this a poll with options simply because I have no idea what could be on it! So tell me what is the best thing you have ever had for your chins and why!


For me it was the Edstrom Water Buddy. I have 3 (8,16,24 .oz) and I adore them! The 8 oz if for travel and the 16 .oz also works. No leaks, so I know how much my girls are actually drinking. Easy to fill. And they look so nice! I'm so grumpy that they discontinued them! I just don't understand when they are so popular and the best water bottle on the market.
 
I'm with you --- the Edstrom Water Buddy AND a fleece tube!!! Whiskers and The Snuggler LIVE in that tube, one on top of another!!!
 
My huge feed bins. They are like the bulk containers used in G-stores. I can fit 4 50lb bags in them! I have two. One for my feed and one for hay cubes. I would like to buy another for the loose hay. They keep everything neat and accesable.
 
My FN! (even though we don't have it "up and running" yet...)

And Oxbow pellets! My boys grew so much after switching them!!!

Haha. I agree though, my husband has been quite the trooper making wood houses, hauling 100's of pounds of food, hay and pine shavings every week from the feed store, and learining to cherish a good chin safe tree! He even helps me make toys, and to be honest, makes much cuter toys than I do! Having a "partner in crime" so to speak makes it so much fun and is really a good way to spend time together, doing something we both love so much.
 
I would have to go with the fleece tubes. As the human judges, my husband and I love the bridge attached to the two ledges that I recently bought. I have yet to see the chins on it, but the poo makes me think they like it too!
 
My chin spin and my flying saucer. Oh, and my fleece tubes (thanks mom!). Oh, and my ferret nation and fleece liners (thanks again mom!).

And like the above shows, my mommy for making most of my fleecy things at no cost. She's amazing.
 
Thanks for all the responces everybody! I really like these kinds of threads because it gives me (and hopefully others) great ideas of things to buy our chin kids. Its great to know what everybody loves giving their chnchillas.
 
I am really digging the two sets of Marshall Deluxe Ferret Playpen gates I just bought. Amy is now foiled in her every attempt at destruction! ;)
 
I love my new playpen too! I set up a Pvc pipe playground, and they go nuts!
 
too many too list, but probably the best buys would be

-fleece tunnel from camphorchins
-chin spin from qaulitycage
-popup playpen from petco, originally meant for my pug but the chins took over :D
