i've been deciding for nearly 16 years what i want my first tattoo to be, lol. i figure if it's going to be on my body for life, i better pick well! something to do with my kiddo for sure, that much i know.

lol yeah, i've been planning since i was like 12. my taurus was my first one, done in may 2011. and then my quote was done in august 2011.

I designed my tattoo myself everything has hidden meanings for the different stages of my life so far, the good and the bad, i will maybe add to it a bit later on. Also my sister paid for my tattoo as a graduation present for finishing college

It took only 45 minutes but for my first i wanted something a little bigger than the usual, my sister thought i was mad for having bigger than the usual and on my foot but i wanted something worth the pain I was doing well until the last 10 minutes, my leg decided it had the shakes and i almost kicked the tattooist in the face but he took it well. The worst parts seemed to be around my ankle and by my toes

haha i hate when they swell up. the one on my arm swelled up so much i couldnt bend it without my arm going numb.

I know i really didnt like the swelling i felt like a had a lump of jelly on my foot, it was a bizarre feeling but its worth it in the end. My oldest sister has a dragon completely covering her back and it connects to the one on her thigh, she was having 3 hour sessions and i cant imagine how much that hurt because after 45 minutes i was done

oh my gosh!
i could never do that lol. the biggest one i will have is gonna by my hello kitty half sleeve.
but tattoos are so addicting, i can't get enough of them. haha. and plus the sound of the gun calms me down when i'm stressed. which is why i get them when i'm stressed lol.

the one on my neck took 45 minutes and the one on my arm took almost 2 hours.

This is the only picture I have, taken the night I got home. Its on my Left outside calf. I do have plans to extend this one..its just a matter of sucking it up and getting the money together to do it... Haven't told many people what my idea is though

My first tattoo is just a generic picture of a wolf. I have plans on adding a background to this one to spice it up a little. again the only picture I have uploaded was right after it was completed.

I too love the chinchilla one. I thought about getting chinny paw prints, but they would just look like dots on my leg

I've got 3 tattoos, the most recent I got just a few hours ago! I'm so psyched, I've wanted it for 2 years, and promised myself that when I got a job I'd get a tat.. and well, I got a job (so I'm officially a professional graphic designer whaaat.. and a student at the same time) so I got a tattoo! It was partially inspired by To Write Love On Her Arm (www.twloha.com)

It means a lot to me. It's really simple and delicate but it signifies the end of an era, and the end of a me I didn't like. I'm very happy with it!

I don't have pics of the other two though... One is a star on my hand and the other is a little design I drew on my back.

i went through one of those stages as well.
and thats why the quote live life. laugh lots. love forever. means so much to me.
also La vita è bella (life is beautiful in italian), also means alot to me for the same reason the other quote means a lot to me.
it ended my unhappiness with life, and now i look at life like it was one of the best things ever created.

Here is mine. Got it done in March 2010 after about six years of consideration. Don't think I'll be getting any more even though I always get random ideas for one! (The artwork was done by Layne Staley, and I made the transfer sheet).

both shoulders, as part of what I am eventually considering completing with half-sleeves... the cross was actually a cover up that turned out exceptionally well, imo
