Bovvy was lookin super smooth and handsome the other day.

He's very, very photogenic!

He's also super sweet. He resists being picked up, but once he's up, he's pretty good. Last night he was totally fearless when my friends held him.

Also, he's got eb parents and a light grey belly, but clearly it's not even close to the rest of his coloring. Is he actually an ebony or is he a standard with a dirty white belly or something like that?

Thanks. The breeder I got him from told me he was a light ebony, but based on pictures of him from when he was 3-5 weeks old, it looks like he's changed color somewhat.

A light ebony would be the same color all the way around (belly same color as the back)...he is definitely a cute standard boy!

exactly. here he is at 10 weeks; it might just be the lighting, but he looks a lot more uniform in color to me at that point? even more so when he was still with the breeder.

I'm curious, but of course I love him either way. <3

From my understanding, standard bellies can be dark as babies and lighten up as they get older.
