So, today I picked up some Critical Care for my new girl Suki. She's been eating her hay, but hasn't really been eating her pellets. Her not eating has kinda made me concerned. I wasn't really expecting her to take Critical Care at all and was expecting a huge fight/mess, but it was pretty easy. I burrito-ed her up, put the syringe in her mouth, gave a little squirt, and she swallowed it down!!! She even licked some off of the spoon after! :dance3: I was so happy!!! Hopefully she'll gain some weight now. She's bigger than the boys, but weighs a little less or about the same (I don't have a scale yet). The problem with this is that she's roughly 10 months old and they're only 5. She's so skinny!

Anyway, sorry for the ramble. I just wanted to share Suki's good news.

Great news! You got lucky, that is not the common story! Is there anything wrong with her, or just the weight issue?

Hope she gains her weight back.

Isn't it great when they just eat it off the spoon. I have a chin that will just eat it off a spoon and I love it, but the others, I have to fight with, even while being wrapped up like a burrito in a towel. :hair:

There's nothing wrong with her, I'm just worried about her weight being so low and her refusal to eat the pellets. So right now, the CC is to supplement her mostly hay diet. She also has a bit of a hunchback...I'm not sure if that's from malnutrition or if it's just a strange way that she likes to sit. *shrug* But she's figuring it out.
