Anyone else getting this crappy stuff?!?

I know several of you should be if I am. I strongly dislike it. My parents say I only dislike it now because...
1. I'm not in school anymore (where if it snows, school is called off. college doesn't do that)
2. I'm driving now
3. I drive a Trans Am.
4. I might have to work in the morning and we live on a crappy road.

haha, I think they might be right but I'll never tell them that

Yup, getting it here too. Not too much, almost like it's drizzling... except it's snow. Been doing this all day. And it's FREEZING out. Brrr. If only it could be 70 and snow, I'd be in heaven. Like the snow, not the cold.

And yeah, I agree. My graduate classes and my work are never called off - if there's 5 feet of snow on the ground, I better get a snowplow to take me there, cause it's still in session or I still have to work! I miss the days school used to get canceled for stuff like that....

D; We've had snow for what seems for ever already. I hate snow, I really wish my parent's would move to somewhere's warm. Everyone I know is always asking me how I can live in Minnesota and hate snow. It's very simple, I hate the cold.

My school NEVER calls school off or delays for two hours; on Money we got yucky slushy type of snow and had four buses go in the ditch did we get to leave early? Of course not. Isle Schools will not close or delay even if the freaking apocolapse was coming.

haha we hate the cold yet our chinnies love it. lol
I always hate when school got cancelled for snow because it meant we went longer in the summer. lol

I called work and right now there aren't any rooms so I might not have to work tomorrow after all, but at some point I HAVE to go out and turn my final in.

I've had 2 productive days in a row due to not having to work (well, I worked Saturday but was still productive). The chinnies cages, room, and closet it clean. Toys refilled, etc. Degus area is clean. Was hoping to clean my car out...but its to cold out for that.
The chinnies should worry. If I don't work tomorrow or have classes (I'm usually at classes all day on Monday's until like 9:30pm with just 3 hours off), what else could I possibly do to their room. haha

Seems to me back on CnQ when you said you were getting this car you were warned that it would stink in the snow, but you were pretty determined that you were getting it, so your dad got it for you (against your mom's wishes). Since you insisted on getting it, I guess you have no right to complain about driving it in the snow.

It's winter. Winter = snow. Don't want to deal with it? Move to Florida. :)

We've got snow...broke the November snowfall record this year.

I like snow as long as I can get out of my driveway. My drive to work is mostly Hwy so as long as I can make it to the main road, I'm good. I have had to call in a few times because the snow in the road was higher than the bottom of my car and I wasn't going anywhere.

I work at a hospital so there's no closing for us. Most of my co-workers live much closer to work than I do and if needed, one of the guys can go pick people up in his 4WD truck and bring them to work (its happened). The hospital will put employees up for the night either on-site or at the hotel across the street if we have a 'snow emergency' which is nice.

Ummm yeah, we've had snow since before Thanksgiving.

But I'm happy. I love snow and winter. I could never live down south where there's no snow for Christmas.

We got our first snow this weekend :)

We got our first snow before Thanksgiving, along with the strong NE winds. We then got more snow on Thanksgiving. It was quite beautiful. We don't usually get a lot of snow where I live, so it was extra special to see it fall on a holiday. We're hoping to see it again on Christmas. I personally love to see it from indoors, but hate to drive in it. We're supposed to have a long and cold winter this year, says the farmer's almanac, so maybe we'll be seeing a lot of this white stuff this year.

College classes get cancelled all the time for snow...well here in upstate ny then do.

I'm upset we haven't seen a snowflake yet, as I love snow the more the better.

It doesn't snow here. But people in this area do a thing called "going to see the snow", like its a tourist attraction. As someone who grew up in Colorado, this seemed completely bizarre. However, after living in Cali for 5 years now, we must finally be locals. This weekend we are headed to Tahoe to see the snow! Woo hoo!

Tahoe is very pretty. My cousin got married there in April a few years ago and there was still a fair amount of snow...very pretty!

Just saw the first snowflakes of the winter here in western MA while I was riding the bus back to my apartment from classes today. I know eastern MA got a little bit of snow a few weeks ago.

I remember last year school was cancelled a couple days. It was weird, though, because they would cancel when the weather was fine but one day I literally couldn't go to class because I was genuinely afraid to drive in the weather--no cancellations that day. I think UMass had a confusing winter.

I was super excited that for some reason this morning I didn't have to go start up my car and scrape frost off of it at 6:30!! But it's about 30F right now, though the weather channel says it feels like 15F--I want to skip my shift at work so badly. SO BADLY!!
