I have an 9 week old hedgehog and I hav offered him freeze dried meal worms, live meal worms, baby food, apple, strawberry, rasberry, blueberry and cooked chicken and he wont try any of them and doesn't eat them when left in his bowl over night. I haven't found anything he likes so far apart from his cat food which he does eat.

Any suggestions for other thing he might like and should I try again when he is older or will he probably never like them?

id say give him a little more time to adjust and try again in a couple weeks. crickets are really popular around here, but they are more fatty than mealworms so you cant over do them. mine also also likes peas and also chicken baby food a lot.

when my hedgehog was that little she loved apples and bananas. and she stopped liking them at two months and still wont touch them at a year old. idk why. their tastes do seem to change, anyone else have this happen

Some are just more resistant to other foods than others. Your little one is still quite young. Keep trying those foods and also try others as well. Try a little sweet peas, green beans etc. Mine like them totally mashed up, or I buy the organic baby food variety. Also give watermelon or cantelope a shot. Poptart will not eat any fruits or veggies except for watermelon.

He's defo seems completely settled n comfortable even fell asleep in my lap last night with no blanket over him. He annnointed with the rasberry and annointed with the carpet when I offered him the strawberry
I'm gona keep trying different things anyway hopefully he'll grow to like something because I want him to associate me with treats an nice things.

:thanks10: for the advice I'll try offering all the things suggested

2 of my boys hate mealies and will only eat crickets and cat food. Surprisingly crickets are liked here more than mealies, and to me they are not as gross! Plus they are more healthy.
