Yes! I got an email today. She said the manager of the hotel she had spoken to last year was on vacation last week but she would contact them again this week. She thinks she will be able to get the same deal and will let me know. :)

The show itself usually starts around 10am but people are usually there around 7am registering & grooming. Not sure on the fee cost though; I think it's usually $5.

I plan on going this year and am looking forward to a show that is close to me for a change! I'll probably have between 5-10 chins to actually show, depending on how some of them grow out.

I might be going, but I'm still not sure. I saw something about a website in one of the posts. Does anyone have a link for it?

a friend of mine went to this show last year, and didn't have to pay an entrance fee, so maybe you'll get lucky too!

So, it starts at 10Am. If my fiancee and I wanted to come early and watch some grooming would we be able to get in early or are the doors closed?

Anyone is normally welcome to come and check out grooming and registration and the process of showing. I'm pretty sure you're welcome to come in as soon as registration starts.

That is exciting. I don't think we would want to get there right when registration starts, but I'd like to come a little early and see how things work. I would love to breed in the future, and we both want to come and just watch everything. Do you know how long shows usually last?

It depends on the amount of animals, but last year if I recall correctly, it lasted about 5 hours, but we had a rally, lunch spread and the judgeing. It was my first experience assisting a show. I certainly did appreciate it. That's why I'm going back again and bringing a chin. Although at first, I found it difficult to see chins daggling head down while being combed. But I do it now.

Sorry if I missed this, but what time does the show start?

Scott and I will likely be going as well. We were originally planning on showing Kenai, but we've since found out he easily gets stress-induced diarrhea, so we'll probably just come to watch :))
