So I'm really tired... I'm, not even sure why I wake up so early. it only takes me 30 minutes to get ready for class, because I only have to shower, and then throw my hair up and put scrubs on, easy enough. Anywho, I wake up so early that the boys are still up, so I turn on the TV and put it on Cartoon Network.... Around this time, Pokemon comes on. As soon as my boys hear that horrible theme song, they run to the front of the cage and grab hold of the bars and just go into some kind of trance.. My new kid, Charlie, just looked at my 2 boys like they were idiots, but then soon went into the trance as well..... I don't get it. It's only with pokemon. They could care less about the other cartoons....

I probably just need to leave, or I will get stuck in traffic.... Just thought I would share.. :)

lol that is too funny! Never noticed with my chins. But the theme song they have now? Ick lol. The originals the best. :D

I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was!
*bum, bum, bum* To catch them is my real test, to train them is my caaaaauuuse~!
I will travel across the land, searching far and wide,
Each Pokemon, to understand,
The power that's insiiiiide!
POKEMON! *gotta catch 'em call*
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny!
POKEMON!
Oh, you're my best friend,
In a word we must defeeeeend!
POKEMON!
Our hearts so true,
Our courage has brought us through.
You teach me, and I'll teach you,
PO - KE - MON~! *gotta catch 'em all*
Gotta catch 'em aaaaall!
POKEMON!

...I was way into Pokemon in middle school :) I had the games, the cards, the toys... I even saw the first movie in theaters. My friends and I entered card game tournaments, too. Hehe :D

...So yes, I know the theme song by heart.

thats cute. I've never played pokemon on the tv but mine does that to other shows. Its funny when they go into that odd spaced out stare.

My chins aren't effected by Pokemon but, my human boys certainly are! Pokemon blankets, cards, poke balls, action figures, DVDs, sheets.. you name it my middle son has it! LOL. An awful like you lessthansign3! What is the obsession? I just don't understand the whole thing? There's all different types that "evolve"? and they fight different types? That's all I know according to my 6 year old. I just shake my head and agree with him.

nicky--my son always wants me to play pokemon cards with him and he makes up these rules and i just dont get it! we also have dvds, sheets, blankets, etc......

This is all so funny! And, it proves that I am not completely crazy. I tell people about how my chins LOVE certain music and shows. The zoning out is hilarious. It's good to know that it isn't just my chins! :D

I don't understand Pokemon. I just smile and nod when kids talk about it and try to understand. All I know is that there are many of my chins that have been renamed Pikachu. (Or I think that's the name...)

Petra gets really into Ghost hunters. Its hilarious! She jumps at all this right moments and hides and peeks at it. Its wonderful. Nyx and Pia unaffected. They like Glee and that show just makes Petra surly. We all like House though, so....

Pokemon was my gateway to anime. It will always have its place for me.

You'd have had to grow up with pokemon to get it like we do. ;) Pokemon was my life in middle school, lol. I too had everything, cards, figures... even a pokemon bunk bed, lol. Pokemon's not hard to get, you've just gotta get into it. :D Even at 20 I can still appreciate it, not the new ones though... they've gotten carried away. The first 150 was it! :)) Now they have almost 500, lol.

I loved pokemon in middle school. And in highschool, on the band bus on the way to football games (I is a band nerd<3~ always B#), we'd sing the theme song, then the Poke rap thanks to this kid Tucker who knew the breakdown names of all the pokemon in order. Fun times.

Dr. Death and Morgan Freeman haven't been near a tv much, but Rem can see me play xbox so she likes to watch me kill zombies on L4D and try to find all the keys on FableII.
