Ok, so I got a critter nation 162 cage for my chin. Will the Bass Pans fit in a critter nation?

How do you potty train a chin?

I have hanging toys in Milos cage right now and she doesn't seem to be to intrested in them? You think toss toys would entertain her better?

You all know the problems milo has had, What about a chin Spin or a Saucer? I've been looking up some of them, But I don't know if I should get one for her because of the problems. She hasn't seizured in a month! No circling with head tilted, or falling over when running.

You can't really potty train a chinchilla...how that works is they tend to pee in the same spot over and over like the back corner..so you put the pan there.

As for toys keep trying till you find the right toy each chinchilla is different

And wheels are not necessary. I only have 2 cages with wheels everyone not in those cages is happy, healthy and fine

ok, Shes getting some things from Alli for christmas, so if she likes the toys I get from her, I guess I'll keep going back to alli for them! :)

Thanks :)

Well, technically you can litter train a chinchilla to pee in one spot, but I think it's rare that you get a chin that does so exclusively. Out of my 5 girls I had one that would only pee in her pan, and she'd still continue to pee in the pan wherever I moved it. So she was trained. All my others though would pee in their pan but would also pee other places. So, most chins tend to do what they want.

I think if she has a history of seizures (can't remember what her issues are) I'd be inclined to skip the wheel in case she overexerts herself on the wheel. She will be fine without one.

the Seizures were caused by the inner ear infection, along with the inbalance and head tilting :)

And looking at the recent photos of her I would say she has lasting damage neurologically from that infection and should NOT have a wheel.
