On August 11th, I lost my five year old girl, Heidi. She passed away sometime during the day in her sleep. This came about a month after Zoe's passing after a year long struggle with brain cancer. It had been a really difficult month, but things are starting to look up a bit.
Andrew, my boyfriend, just came home with Phoebe, a baby girl of about 5 months. He works in Oshawa - about two hours away from Kingston - so I haven't met Phoebe yet which will explain the severe absence of pictures on this thread. But don't worry, they will be up soon :dance3:
He picked the name Phoebe after Phoebus, a common name for sun gods or the sun. Ironic, isn't it?
Anyway, I thought I would just give everyone an update on the hedgie status around here. And I promise, pics are on the way!
