I saw it a couple of nights ago. Since I am home alone 6 days out of the week, I spent 2 nights sleeping on the couch with my dogs with all of the lights on and also the tv.

I finally saw the movie and it was awesome! Very scary. My husband is never scared of horror movies and this one totally creaped him out. This is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I would recommend it to anyone.

Ash - It's odd that you would say that. Rhiannon and a friend of hers went to see it and they left the theater because they were both getting sick from the camera jerking around. They also said it was really slow and they just couldn't get into it. They compared it to Blaire Witch Project!

Maybe if they had been able to stick it out to the end, but neither of them was willing to sit through 2 hours (or whatever) of motion sickness.

Just RedBoxed it today.. It was alright. I expected a little paranormal stuff to take place, but it was what it was. I did think the theatrical ending was better than the alternate ending (the DVD has both) ... I didn't get the motion sickness I got with Blair Witch either... overall I give it a B+

There were parts of it I liked, but I wasn't scared by it at all. My friend who went with me to see it was horrified and thought it was one of the best horror movies she had seen.

I just didn't get into it I guess? It didn't make me sick either. I spent most of the movie thinking about how I actually paid $9.50 to watch such a stupid movie. Really.

I got this at Redbox last night... Wasn't as good as the hype said it was, but it was pretty good, nonetheless. I think the acting was really only ok in the parts between the screaming and the "OMG"'s... LOL. I liked the effects they used to make the events happen, pretty realistic. I would give it maybe a B.

I agree with you. I didn't like it either. Some parts of it were okay though, but if I could go back and redo the paying part...I'd pass without thinking about it.
My sister in law and brother watched it and she was so scared she didn't sleep for like 2 nights. So we and daddy wanted to see if. We were both very disappointed. The 2 most interesting parts to me, you didn't even get to see. Any other stupid part of the movie that guy would have took that dang camera with him. The interesting parts, he dodn't. Ugh

I agree with Chinmama. I didn't react to anything in this movie. But, again, I might be desensitized to it due to being a complete horror/thriller movie addict. I did find it quite amusing that once the credits started rolling, the amount of teenagers screaming and rushing to get out of the theatre. I guess some people actually thought this an actual documentary.
