just called the dentist and they are going to use novocaine to remove the one tooth that is bothering me next thursday :) definitely scared. and they already have xrays of my teeth so i dont have to worry about that. hopefully no other teeth start to hurt!

But in the end you should not wait until the end of the pregnancy as the infection is putting toxins in your system and if you develop a fever that could be really bad for the baby, There is links going from Illness to schizophrenia during certain times of development. And I was told when pregnant with Clara that tylenol on ocasion is ok but only take it when absoulutly necessary and not during the 1st trimester

they are going to pull this one next week, then work on the others when i am further along. so far there is no swelling or odd taste. its from the cavity being so deep and the nerves are exposed. this is the only one thats giving me problems at the moment so this is the first to go! just scared about the shot of novocaine.

The dentist will prenumb the area with a topical anesthetic, so the "pinch" of the needle is lessened. A good dentist can give you anesthetic without you feeling it at all.

i agree with Jenn, a good tooth doc will make it so all you feel is that lil pinch. when i had to be frozen twice each time, i hardly felt the needle go in at all, and i don't recall if they used topical at all first.

Awesome. :) Ginger and peppermint are ancient (and still used) herbal treatments for nausea. Maybe one of those will help w/ the "morning" sickness.

hmm the store i work at sells ginger root. i dont drink soda. i dont like the carbonation. do you know how i would use the ginger?
