Just got home and it is 1115 pm. Exhausted and had to travel in the rain which I hate...but managed to pick up 24 chins. There are quite a few already spoken for, so tomorrow will be spent rearranging them and bringing them to the various people who said they wanted them. I also have one other teacher (I am a teacher) that offered to foster a few until homes are found. Will update more tomorrow. Thank you to everyone for the well wishes....

Well...according to this old post her mom has 40 chins (minus 1 for poor Romeo). :cry3: So, if I did my math correctly that would mean mom still has 15.

Sorry, I guess I didn't calculate it right, but I have 17 chins with me, where there is 2 newborn babies, so actually 15, and I have two chins that are 4 and 6 months old, and the rest is all adults, so yes, it actually lasts me about 2 months not 3, I just said betwen 2 and 3 because it can last me 2 months and 1 week, and it's true, it depends on the feed, because I find my chins seem to like more the Oxbow than the Riedstra, but my mom, with 40 chins, it lasts her one bag of 50 pounds of the Riedstra only one month

I agree but I imagine Kativia still plans on breeding and left ehat she consideres to be the better breeding animals there.....
