Getting ready to leave for Empress Oklahoma state show. I haven't been to this show since 2008. Always a fun show with tough competition. Joe Brown, Bob Smith, Bob Merritt, Jennifer DeLozier (formerly the Bradford's herd) always bring nice standards and Tucker & Biggers and Joe Brown will be battling with their nice mutations and there's almost always a unexpected surprise rancher or 2 that will show up and bring their chins to this show. I'm taking about 10 total to show. Most of mine are really too young yet, but will definitely let me know how they're progressing with the quality animals that will be at this show. I'm excited to see all my "old chin friends" and looking forward to great competition at the show.

Good luck everyone. Sounds like it will be an awesome show, with some great competition... so bummed I'm going to miss it.

I had a great time at the show. It was nice to see all my chinchilla friends again. I was surprised to see Vin Somavia, Ellis Adcock, and Rich Ryerson at the show. Oklahoma show always seems to bring in a few unexpected people. Here's the un-official results I have.

I hope I have all those results right, I had to recall some with memory since I didn't get them all recorded during the show. Great show, very nice animals exhibited, and a great job done as always by Jim Ritterspach judging.

I'm surprised Rich was there, I just heard last night that Jan's mom had passed away that morning. Sad time for the Ryerson family.

Thanks for posting the results, glad you had a good time!
