ok silly question during playtime why does my chin prefer to run over my head....LOL

I have my entire bedroom chin proofed since the day I brought him home ...and sometimes ill sit in my bed propped up typing on my latoptop..chin chin makes his rounds by routine( yup that is the basket he poops behind see him smiling LOL)...for some reason he loves to run in and out of my bed while jumping up sitting in my head...running over my head if im down lower..... yet he never goes down by my legs or anything wants to always be higher......do they just like being higher up?

I do have to say I am very happy me and chin have gotten to form a bond...I was so worried about him after bringing him to my house he was used to being grabbed all day at the pet store I was worried he would be always scared....heck now he runs me over and I dont even care lol

I think they do like being higher. And I think they get curious around things that move slightly. My chin has definitely jumped on my face a bunch. They're just weird animals, it's best not to question them sometimes...

my one boy has an obsession with grooming people's eyebrows and eyelashes. He also gives kisses and grabs your nose with his hands. He runs his hands all over your face too. He does sit on my head sometimes when I lay on the floor with them but he mainly sits next to my head and grooms me.

My one guy jsut lieks to perch on things. I would imagin the head is jsut easier to do that on. Even if i lay my hand down on the floor when hes out, he will come over and perch on it. He never stays still tho. He will readjust his position, sit for a secon, readjust, sit for a sec, over and over lol.

How did you manage to chin proof a bedroom? Maybe its jsut my chins but the way they chew everything, i can never see that working. Sheets, blankets, carpet if you have, wires ect.

Chins do things because they can. If it looks tough or weird then they want to do it. Sitting on a head or walking all over a head is a chin kind of thing

I have bought barricades for the room.....also I found out he can slip under the door crack so I barricade that and shut the door....then I barricade my desk and all wires are off the floor and in tubes lol....anything he can jump on my desk, nightstand has nothing he can grab ....I am kind of obsessive....once he tried to jump in my computer tower so I barricaded that too.....before he comes out I set up my barricades....then I will have some hay/toys out so he chews on them instead of wood...also I watch him the whole time basically I would still not leave him in the room alone ...

Trixie will do that too...She will sit on my shoulder and not be able to figure out why she cannot get to my eyes through my glasses. I end up taking them off so she does not chew the frames.
She will also sit on top of my head and peer over the top down at me..as if saying "Hi Mom, Look where I am" :rofl:

My girl does that. She will often hope up onto my shoulder, then proceede to try and eat my glasses!

I've got chew marks the frames and lenses! I try to stop her but sometimes she's just very persistent.

She also loves sitting on my head. We call her the chinchilla hat.

Be careful if you ever are laying down while they run around. Gary jumped on my face once and I got a foot in the mouth.. YUCK! lol.
