Does anyone know if Office Max still does their used ink cartridge trade in program?

You used to get like a $3 credit or so, for each used ink cartridge you brought in.

I couldn't find anything on their site. I have a BUNCH here, and need new ink! I ran out in the middle of printing stuff!

I think I remember seeing a sign at my Office Max last time I was there... I know I was looking for a way to get rid of mine, but ended up just sending them to HP to be recycled.

I could be wrong though... Maybe just call them and ask?

Ours here does, but it probably varies greatly by location. I'd love to participate but they don't take any danged epson ink cartridges (apparently epson is too good to participate - see if I buy another one!)

As of last week they did over by where I work (Oak Brook, IL). The only thing is that they no longer give you a $3 coupon for future purchases but they add it to your Office Max Perks account, then they send you a rewards card/coupon for what you have accumulated for that quarter, including any supplies purchased during that quarter as well. I believe Office Depot is doing the same, not sure.

Staples does that too. You can turn in up to 10 a month and get $3 for each of them applied to your account and they will arrive as a coupon you can use on future purchases. Staples has also expanded so that they take ALL toner and ink cartridges again.

I dunno if Office Max does, but the Office Depot here does... I think you get either $3 off or a free ream of paper.

Hmmm, maybe I'll check it out. I have about 20 of them here, lol.

Call and ask? That would be WAY too easy! LOL
