I got a copy of the pathology faxed to me this morning. So the results are in.

Cooper had a benign papilloma.

Papillomas often are caused by a virus, but his particular one didn't contain the changes typical of viral etiology. The lesion is benign and the report states "within examined sections, those areas containing surgical margins appear to demonstrate complete excision." :dance3:

Overall, Cooper is doing wonderfully. His appetite has been great. He has gained some weight. I had been trying to get some extra on him since he came to me. We are doing very well. He celebrates his 3rd birthday tomorrow.
