Now I know it's ok to feed chins rolled oats aka quaker slow cook oaks, however has anyone ever fed their chins oat kernels? I went to a new feed store today to buy some Mazuri pellets for my chins and saw some oat kernel for sale. The lady gave me a little bit to try, but before I attempt to feed my little fuzz balls that I want to see if anyone has any good results from it. Thanks

If you mean oat groats (what the oats are before they are rolled or cut), then yes, they are safe. I hand feed them to Idgie as a treat, but only a pinch a day. I buy them at Whole Foods.

Yes that's what I mean. I found a local store that sells them and they gave me some samples since they only sell them at 50 pounds, but will work with me if I want a smaller portion. Thanks now I know I can give that to my chinnies
