Northern Maryland Vet Recommendation

My chins are ok, I just wanted some veterinarian recommendations in the northern Maryland area. Ive heard of some, but not sure if they are actually reliable. : )

I took one of my chins to Dr Herko at the Falls Rd Animal Hosp in Baltimore. He was recommended on here and seemed pretty knowledgable.

We use Chadwell Animal Hospital in Bel Air/Abingdon MD, which has an exotic specialists in Dr. Gold and small mammal specialist Dr. Haskin. We've also heard good things about the Falls Road animal hospital, but haven't had cause to look elsewhere.

Thats who the previous owner recommended but I just wasnt sure if they knew much about chinchillas. Thank you!!!!

I'm not sure how close you are to Westminster, but I use Dr. Ryan at Feathers Scales and Tails. He is wonderful. I have been using him about 15 years.

The Falls Road also has emergency vet services as well. Back in 2009 or 2010, we had a scare with Sesame involved her foot getting caught inbetween the pullout pan and the cage bottom. They handled it quite well with xrays, proper medication, etc.

I would recommend them if you're in the Baltimore area.
