no luck on playtime adjustment

i posted a while ago when I first got my boy. From the very beginning he just does not want to come out in the evenings anytime before 11:30pm. I have tried for at least 2 weeks to just take him out anyway to show him "look chin boy, this is your playtime", but he will just sit in the corner and pout/snooze.

So for months now, I am getting up an hour earlier in the morning to let him out when he is awake and playful. I am getting used to it, but I am still thinking...there HAS got to be a better way.

Has this happened to anyone?

I learned early on..they will do things only when THEY want to and that I had to adjust to his schedule!

Mine like 5:30am and 5:30pm, a hour either way forward or back and they are duds when playing.

oh don't say that...I let our chins out for playtime at 1:00 AM and they went absolutely nuts; they had more fun than usual. I usually let them out between 10 and 11 PM
