New Pellets

My boy was on Mazuri for a month or two with no issues but then all of a sudden it was giving him soft poops. Looking for advice on a new pellet. Most likely going to mix with Mazuri cause he is fine with a little and I have so much... Im a little nervous about rabbit pellets but if they work well let me know. Please post the food and where I can get it.

Most people seem to recommend these brands:

Tradition Chinchilla Specialty Diet
Purina Rabbit Chow Show
Oxbow Chinchilla Essentials

Probably a few others that I'm forgetting... Good rabbit pellets seem to be fine as long as the quality is high and the nutritional analysis is similar to the chinchilla pellets. I've been told to avoid feed that contains corn ingredients as well.

I use Manna Pro Sho which is a rabbit pellet. A lot of breeders on the west coast use it with no problems.

the problem with the show rabbit chow is you get only get it in 50lb bags. With one chin it would go stale before you could use it up.

I use Neutrena rabbit pellets and they work very well. My favorite is Tradition, but I can't get that out here.

What I suggest to people is that if they can only get the 50 pound bags, it's usually still cheaper than paying shipping for a lesser amount. Buy the bigger bag, donate what you won't use to a rescue. They can always use the help.
