New hedgie mother (almost)

I'm pleased to announce that i'll be picking up my baby hedgie tonight! (pictures to come after i have the ability to do so- i'm still too new! :hedgie4:

Welcome to the group - we love pictures Just remember to minimize handling on day 1 so she gets comfortable with her new environment and no treats for at least the first two weeks.

On another note... chins and hedgies need totally different environments. Cooler temps, preferably under 70-72 degrees for chinchillas and warmer temps for hedgies. They should not be housed in the same room. Lots of great info here on the forum in both the chinchilla and hedgie sections, please take the time to read the FAQ's.
