Just so you know, start saving up for a new cage. I had this cage and after about a year the bars attached to shelves started snapping off. I had two escapes, luckily I found her quickly. I eventually got a cheap Ferret Nation off craigslist and it was WELL worth it! Just one level of the FN is way bigger than that whole cage.

So I was describing this weird flip thing he does after play time. I managed to get it on film. Most of the time it's a full slip all the way onto his back and over.

It's a hand-me-down Sony Cybershot. I'd prefer something much better (and more expensive) but this does a decent enough job for now.

I really don't know. I just got done holding him to show my niece and I want to give him his space for a bit but I'll check when I can I guess.

There's really not much more to do about it than you already have, even if it is a spot. You've got him on good food and timmy hay, which his other owners didn't. I just happened to see it and thought "better to know than not".

Or you could use the tooth checking as an excuse to take pictures of him chowing down on a rose hip for us. (The vit C helps absorb calcium.)
