other than the 2 chin girls we have a full house of pets that are all rescues so I thought it only fair to introduce them too

Ringo - 2 year old boxer/beagle/lab mutt -- found at 2 months old in an empty house with nothing to eat / drink but his own waste , he was with 2 other dogs both were too far gone health wise and had to be put down. We adopted Ringo at 3 months old and he has been driving us nuts ever since lol The police offer who found him named him Ringo after his service dog that was killed in the line of duty so we opted to keep his name

the piggies ( I work with a guinea pig rescue group )

Taz - 4 year old brindle abby - Taz was dumped off at humane society for being an aggressive guinea pig ( biting , running away not wanting to be held , spazzy ) we have had him for a year now and he is the sweetest fat boy ever he is slowing down with age and is partially blind in one eye but has never once bite anyone he is also borderline diabetic

Capt Jack Sparrow AKA Lil Jack - 10 month old teddy mix - Lil Jack came from a backyard breeder in CA , we work closely with our sister shelter and take as many guinea pigs as we can from them Lil Jack was a surprise to us his mother gave birth the night before the piggies made the trip from CA - AZ no one knew if Lil Jack was going to make it since he was so small and fragile I fostered him and his mom along with 3 other moms and a total of 12 babies I fell in love with Jacks bigger than life personality and he has been here since .. he is a "mini" pig not going to be very big because of the inbreeding and he has a few health issues but he is a special little guy

Peanut - 2 year old DIVA !!! - she was dropped off at humane shelter for biting when we got her she was a nasty biting pig , over weight , had bumblefoot , and mites .. We got the bumblefoot cleared up got rid of the mites , she is still a bit over weight , and her biting habit is under control .. we love her dearly she is SPOILED rotten and she knows it lol

Bambi - 5 year old - Bambi was turned into our shelter as a private party surrender , when we realized Bambi was older than we were told and she has mammary tumor it was decided that she not be adopted out so I was asked to take her and have her move in with Peanut so Bambi can live out her days here. She is nearly blind and is starting to have issues with her back legs , she is also starting to " shrink " when guinea pigs get older they start losing body mass and slowly shrink .. we know Bambi's time with us is limited but she still gets all the love and care we can possibly give her

the rats :

Marley - 6 month old - black / white berkshire - we adopted her from the sister shelter in CA. Her mom gave birth while being fostered and had 7 kids. Marley is working on trust issues she loves to be petted just not picked up

Gypsy - red eye white - she is the sister to Marley and the only baby born in the litter that was white. Gypsy is slowly losing her eyesight because of the gene that makes her a red eye white. She is SUPER friendly and out going and the total opposite of her sister lol
and even though I am allergic to my rats I would not give them up for the world

we also take in foster guinea pigs from time - time and right now I have 4 males who are still a bit young to be adopted my husband named them :
Beamer , Chevy , Dakota , Taurus the car kids :)

so there is my crew and as soon as I can I will post pics of them

:O I didn't know piggies can get Bumble foot. I love piggies. Unfortunately ours all died of old age. :/ We miss them dearly.
