My gargoyle chin!

I forgot to include this pic in the last batch. I swear everytime I walk into the chin room, this is the position Bear is in. I think he stands like this 80% of the time...he won't budge unless he sees me rummaging in the hay bin or going for the apple sticks! Usually he's even standing up straighter..I'll have to see if I can get some more gargoyle poses and add them here hehe

I think sometimes they even sleep like that, with their eyes open!
Maybe that's a "defensive stance" so predators won't think they're asleep, and try to sneek up on them!?!?!

I guess Bear's been dubbed the "watch chin" of the group..he's really the only one that does it! At the highest part of his cage too. I could totally see it being a defensive tactic.
