Hi all, had my two chins in the bathroom for playtime and left them for a couple of min. Then when I walked in one was on the window sill and has had a few nibbles out the bar of soap. Can't believe he managed to get up there!
Will he be ok, really worried.

Keep a close eye on the chinchilla. Make sure that it is behaving, eating, drinking and pooping normally. If anything is not right, take him to the vet.

I agree, keep an eye on his eating and pooping. If he seems off, take him to the vet.

But in the future, never leave your chins alone when they are out of their cage. Many things can go wrong.

They sure are super fast critters. I agree keep an eye on them, and the best way to chin proof a room, is anything below 4 feet must go. Mine can jump up to the door knob, and like a kid, they put everything in their mouth.

If he does seem off, to a vet he must go.

He seemed o this morn, he came down to the front of his cage and ate some food, put some beetroot pellets in his food last night so hopefully that settled things.
