Hi, I have never been to a chin show but would like to go to some to show chin owners my products that I manufacture and sell on my website.
Does anyone know of any in the midwest coming up or for the remainder of 2009. Are these shows similar to bird shows and fairs? Where you have vendors selling their products?

Thanks
John

Wisconsin, Iowa, and Indiana would be the closest to you I believe. Wisconsin and Iowa both have shows in October, Indiana not until next March. There is a shindig in Indiana this month, but I don't think vendors set up booths there.

No they are not at all like animal fairs. There are a couple people who set up tables each year, but not very many. Usually the JAGS for sure and maybe one or two others, depending on who attends.

We are happy to have vendors at Shindig as well. I haven't personally heard if anyone has requested a table for next weekend, but we're not opposed to it. We'll make space. :D
We'd be happy to rent you a table at the WI show as well.
Peggy's right - there are not many vendors at the shows, typically, but most are willing to rent you a space if you ask ahead of time.

I have no clue where you are located, so not sure how far Kansas would be for you. We would be glad to have you . Tables are $12.00 each. If you want more info PM me.

I haven't ordered yet, but I live just a mile from you. Due to shipping costs (not your fault) I had a couple of people ask me to bring the rock ledges with me to the October show in Wisconsin. It's a little over a 3 hour drive from where we live (just west of Madison). It might be beneficial for you to go to a show but this will be my first time so I don't know what kind of turn-out the Wisconsin show has?

I'd say that the WI show has on average about 50 people there during the years I've been to it.
So definitely not like a large pet expo or fair really. I've sold at pet expos before and it's definitely different than a chin show. They tend to be quite a bit smaller.
