thanks everyone. definitely an easy pregancy so far, only symtom is exhaustion. but i guess with 3 tween boys to take care of, 9 chinnies, 1 guinea pig and and my 13 year old baby girl collie shepard, i would be tired anyway!!
and barb.....no the problem chin was NOT richie. he is doing amazingly well. It was stitch. he started acting strange, noticed he didnt eat his food or treats and was sitting in his littler box at the bottom of his cage not in his tube. when i picked him up he was lethargic and wimpering. i noticed his tummy was a bit yellow & damp so i was thinking UTI. gave him a dose of TMS and he layed on my chest until about 4 am. i contacted dr goode who is not longer practicing at banfield and ended up going to northstar and saw dr doolen, who is one of THE most competent specialists i have ever seen. I will never go to another vet for my chins. he worked with me on price and listened to all my thoughts and was actually impressed i knew so much! he did cultures of stitch's mouth and urinary tract or whatever and I should have results in a another day or so. also did a full body xray and saw no stones or very serious mouth issues but saw some gas & bloating. he anethestized him after doing a quick oral exam and filed a few small points but nothing too bad. gave him the basics: metacam, baytril, cisapride. he seems better but honestly, all my chins seem off these last few days and i am trying to figure out what and if i did anyting different at all!
