I am a Christian, I admit to being one and I LOVE being one. I am not afraid to say Merry Christmas and so I do say it to my wonderful forum family. Today I am thankful for my family and friends, but most thankful to God who sent his son to live with us, teach us and die for us so that we may have eternal life. I believe we celebrate with gifts over these next two days because we are grateful for the gift he has given us.
I know some of you do not have family, some of you do not like your family, but today I miss my sister, Lisa, so much. Christmas was her very favorite time of the year, and it's so hard to be without her. But because of God's gift--his only son--I will be with her again and I cherish the thought and cannot wait to see her smiling face--cancer FREE--once again.
Remember those you love today both far and near. Say a prayer of thankfulness for those who have touched your life, made it better, and more importantly loved you for who your are no matter what.
