Well I am sure you all remember the thread that was posted by "LilFuzzies" (atleast I think thats how you spell it) Tabitha is her name. I'll make a long story short...She posted a thread about Reggie the dog she was watching for someone and then when she gave him back they took him straight to the Animal Shelter (they kill)...Well I saw the thread and the pics of Reggie and I just could not get over how precious he looked and how much of a good dog Tabitha had said I went to the Animal Shelter to "see" Reggie. Let me just say that when I saw him I "had" to have him. The employee that was helping me was getting Reggie out of the kennel when she told me "You can take him out for a few but if you decide to adopt him just let us know", and she turned to walk way when I said "I want him!!". I then signed about 10 sets of papers and paid the $40 fee for adoption. I was then informed by another employee in there that Reggie only had another week in there before getting euthanized. Reggie was soooooo happy to be leaving that place that he was all over me wanting to play. When we got to my car I opened the door and he did not hesitate at all and jumped in and waited for me to shut the door behind him. Well let me just say that that $40 was VERY WELL spent. Reggie is spoiled rotten in my home and gets all the love an animal could ask for. I also would like to add that if it weren't for Tabitha (MyFuzzies) posting a thread about Reggie being at the pound or posting an ad on craigslist for someone to adopt him then I would have NEVER known about Reggie. I know Tabitha really loved Reggie and I know that she just wanted to find him a good and loving home....and she did. Reggie is truly loved and he will NEVER return back to that nasty pound again! Thank you everyone! (sorry this was so long i just had to tell you all)
:hug2:

* Pics of Reggie *

Ohh i am sorry I had posted that thread and then realized i never even put pics on there. Silly me. Well here are some pics. I got overly excited with the camera. I will post more as soon as I get new batteries for my camera. And the first pic is the one that i got off the animal shelters website. He looks so sad in that place! And I am in the process of getting him to gain a lil bit more weight. He is toooooo skinny.

Tiffani, you have NO IDEA how relieved I am that you saved my Reggie!!!! He looks like he's happy in his new home and I'm so glad to see that! I will get with you soon so we can meet up...I can't wait to see him!!

I just want you to know that what you have done for him will always be remembered by me...and my sons! You're truly an angel and I could never thank you enough for saving him. I would have never let it get to the point of them Euthanizing him...I would have taken him out of there myself if you hadn't stepped in (probably would have gotten kicked out of my apt. over it too LOL).

Anyway, he looks great and very happy...and that's all that matters! Thank you again so much for saving him...he really is a wonderful dog!!

aww! im so happy for him! im glad you saved him!!! i cant stand to think about dogs in shelters... it makes me so upset.

Hooray! He is so precious and such a lucky boy to have found you! I'm glad he finally found a good forever home! Congrats on your new addition! :)

If it wasn't for those ears I would really think he was an American Stafford Terrier instead of part Great Dane. Thank you for rescuing a pit bull. They really are wonderful dogs.

I just saw this post and was wondering what happened to Reggie. What a happy ending, thank you for saving him!
