I have never really posted any pictures of my chins on here! I wanted to share a few pictures but I also wanted to know what people thought of the color and size of my chins. Mama is about 4 years old and Beige with speckled ears. Baby is grey with a white belly. I have seen a picture of her father and he looked exactly the same but much bigger. I have had Baby since she was a few weeks old and I have noticed that she was always seemed a bit smaller than I thought she would end up being (compared to her mom). Do they continue growing after 2 years? Maybe she is just a "runt?"
Love them bother either way of course :) just curious.

I'm not sure on the colors other than the female looks like a hetero beige and the baby looks like a very light standard gray with perhaps TOV, as indicated by the white tummy.

Very cute chins. :) I'm a sucker for chinnie pics every time.

I think chins do all their growing in the first 2 years, but I could be wrong.

TOV isn't indicated by a white tummy. Standards have white belly's. TOV is touch of velvet; a dark veiling across the top. She is a standard.

Cute girls. Chins come if different sizes and shapes. It can be influenced by environment, genetics, etc. The baby may just be a smaller chin. In my experience they usually top out in size around 1 year old.

Thanks for the info, stackie, that makes more sense to me, i guess there is no cookie-cutter shape/size for any person or animal. :)

They are cuties, thanks for sharing! Do you have a gram scale to weigh them? Most people think of size in terms of grams not general terms like small, medium, big etc... Either way they look happy and well loved. :)

I had brought her to the vet for an eye problem for the first time 6+ months ago and when i went online they had a vetportal website that listed the info from the vet and it said she weighed .5 ounces or something ridiculous, and I figured it was obviously a typo.. so i never got the proper weight. I inquired online about using someones scale but never got an answer (odd request).. and i dont want to bring her to the vet for just this reason (the last visit seemed VERY traumatic for her.)

hmmmmm
