dabou
mommy of Kahlua and Pedro
Thanks jmdebb!
Also, for everyone's information, I went to see another vet (another clinique) today and the lady was younger, and much more well informed with chinnies than the one I saw two days ago. When I told her the infos the other vet said (without saying any of your opinions or that it was from a vet) she said "that's more for bunnies....."
And the way she explained how his system worked seemed a lot like the informations on that "raisins" thread that Alli713 replied to...

She seems to be well informed with forums as well, as when she said I could give him some greens, she also said "I know that many people on forums will tell you they don't give their chinnies greens...but I think that the key to not cause any problems for a chin's digestion is to introduce them slowly to their diet", and I read a thread that was talking about greens and it looked like that a lot.
On the other hand, on Kahlua's health side, she said that if the other vet found gas in his tummy, he didn't have gas anymore!!! Maybe the probiotics helped. She said Kahlua was fine, his teeth were great and that there was no problem to be found.
Thanks everyone for the good advices, I will still be getting Life Line as they didn't have it at the vet's place, and I will keep it in case =) Oh and the lady gave me a big syringe and explained to me how to feed Kahlua critical care if I need to.
**for those who saw my "possessive chinnie?" thread...she said that it's probably his hormones making him react by attacking my sister and my friend (girl) but not my sis's boyfriend.
