I would TOTALLY get him. I think $150 for everything is good. He seems like he is well cared for and comes from good lines.

150$ is an excellent price for such a beautiful chin that comes with everything, including a very good pedigree. At a pet store you would pay upwards of 100$ for that cage alone not too mention over a 150$ for the chin. Then you would have to buy everything else you would need for him.

I have 3 of the cages in the picture and I took out all the plastic and replaced them all with wood ledges and shelves and there is plenty of room for them to hop around in it. The 3 chins that are in them love them! And if you get the bows that attach to the cage, there is plenty of room for a house and potty pan and still have room to walk around down there.

I agree with everyone who said get him! Get Him! :)

Give me a 6 year old chin over a 8 month old chin any day of the week, especially a well socialized one!

I don't think it is! I first got my girl when she was four, and my third one when he was 5-ish! And they are both the SWEETEST little things!

Since it was pointless to have two threads on the exact same issue, I combined these two. There may be some posting out of order, but those that are following the threads will understand.

I think that's a decent price, and even if you eventually move the chin into a larger cage, you can always use that one for quarantine or as a back-up. The chin is darling; I say go for it!

Yes, I'm sure you can get one cheaper, even free. I think his price is a little high....that can depend on your location. If he's still available I bet she'd consider an offer, never hurts to ask. But if I like him I would get him. He seems very nice. What are your hesitations about? Do you think he's to old and will just sit and sleep? Maybe now isn't the right time for you to get a chin?? It just seems like you are looking for a reason not to get him and that's OK, he may be around another 15 years.

My first chin was 5 years old...and my 3rd chin was 4 and my fourth was 5 :) So yeah, I'd say go for it--adopting an older chin is not like adopting an older person lol, they are just as awesome at that age as any other.
