When im playing with my chin i usual notice something pink under him... I assume this is his penis but like its always out and i assume erect...
I cant really take a picture as he hates being held in any manor that would allow a decent picture to be taken...
I got concerned today because i picked up up by the tail for the first time and realized its out and i believe erect

Yes, it is probably his penis. I doubt it is out of the sheath. Look at some of the pictures on here on sexing chinchillas and tell us if that's what it looks like if you can't get a picture.

Its like a little pink thing that hangs by his feet... I dont know for sure that its always out because sometimes **** be sitting in my hands and ill feel it and others i wont but i dont think he should be aroused so often...
Should i give it time and see if hes just "excitable"?

Im cutting back on his dust baths from now on because his feet seem a bit dry too

Sorry for the horrid picture i had my friend take it on a cell camera... It hangs out about a quarter inchish and it looks dry... He has a little like almost scabby looking patch on it too

Even if the sheath is bigger, you should pull the penis out of the sheath to check for a fur ring. The sheath is supposed to be dry and it does hang quite a bit. I'm not sure that I see anything wrong, though the photo is hard to decipher.

Yea im sorry about the photo my camera is broken and honestly i dont feel comfortable taking him out today hes very stressed his little heart is racing and i just wanna let him relax...
How exactly do i get his penis out?
Is there anyway to get him to calm down abit while im trying to inspect?

They don't much care for the hair ring check or inspecting of their penis as it is quiet honestly molestation. If you think he's too stressed today I wouldn't do anything. You can always call a vet on Monday and see if they can see him. But you can also check the threads for sexing chins and see if it just looks like those pics. Sometimes what you think is a penis is actually the sheath hanging down which is quite normal for both males and females

that picture looks absolutely normal to me. The penis is actually A LOT longer and is normally kept retracted in the cone/sheath. To coax it out for a hair ring check you gently push back on the cone and very gently pull the penis out. It should be about half the length of the animal or more.
