Introducing Michael Angelo

So I remember reading somewhere on here that chinchillas are like popcorn. You can't just get one. I feel like a fool for not believing that saying hahaha. I would like to welcome you al to Michael Angelo (Mikey for short). I was originally going to get him first, but when Lyn from Lyn's Chins let me hold Nicholas Copernicus (Niko), I fell in love. I took Niko home and about 2 weeks later, I saw that Mikey was still available from the other breeder. She had reduced $100 from his original price.........Needless to say, I couldn't resist :hug2: Here he is checking out his new cage =) The first one is when he was younger. I am giving him about a week or two of quarantine before I start the intro process. The last picture is Niko, not sure why he always looks so grumpy. I think it's the eyebrows :hilarious:

I have A LOT of chins and they are all adorable...but there's something about seeing other people's baby chins. Awwwww....so super cute.

(I know this adds nothing, pink whites are always so adorable...)

Goodness, I totally understand what you mean! My only downfall though would be trying to take them all home :laughitup:

So after I brought Angelo home, I couldn't resist letting him meet Niko. After getting a vet check for Angelo, I let him play with Niko for the first time. I went amazing! They started to groom each other and play around. I was sooooo happy! I did use the squish method for about 5 minutes and I guess that was enough for them. They have been inseparable since :buddies:
They also make twice as much of a mess :dots:
