Now I've had my chins for a few weeks now. And they seem to be comfortable with they're surroundings. But i just don't get how i can interact with them. They seem comfortable around me and run about bounce around and occasionally if I'm laying on the floor with hope over me to get to the other side but how can I play along with them or build that bond that i read everyone else has with theirs. Because when i let them out for play time they just want to run past me and do there own thing or i try and play and accidentally stomp too loud lol. Is there games to play with them? how can i make play time more fun for the both of us? without scaring them? :hug2:

sometimes i sit and let them run and jump on me but most of the time i just let them do their own thing and i contstant talk to them. in their play area i have a couple of tunnels, one is a pvc pipe that has 2 outlets on one side and 1 on the other. i have a capri sun box, a fedex box that i cut a little mousehole in, a wooden house, their dust bath,
grey chins posted an awesome example of her chins play area the other day in a thread.
chins are strange critters, they mostly like to do thier own thing.

We've had Annabelle just over a month and she mostly does her own thing during playtime. She will hop on our legs, crawl up our backs and our faces, but mostly she just explores all the boxes, tubes and other fun things we have for her. We alternate what toys we bring out during playtime, that way she doesn't get bored. She just recently started using our hands/arms as a bridge to get out of the cage- she was just waiting until we were out of the way before she would come out, so I guess thats a good sign.
