I just wanted to share what I made ^.^

I made about three 6" ledges, one 8" and that one in the pictures... and I still have plenty to make yet.

The house is probably my biggest accomplishment... That was the most I've done with wood since I was forced to take woodshop in school. The wood was a bit crooked so that messed it up a bit, but for a first attempt, I think it's awesome!

Does anyone have any pointers or ideas for my next project? I'm limited with what I have. Anything that's not a straight cut has to be done by my brother, as I just don't have that equipment. But I am open to ideas

Nice! All my chins love bridges and since you already have ledges it shouldn't be too hard to add them on. You can look at my designs for ideas. Good luck and keep the pictures coming.

what kind of wood is that? Id love to make bigger things for my chins but the only things ive ever found was poplar which can get a bit expensive.

Thanks! Not sure if I can make bridges... As I don't have a saw to cut the tiny pieces. XD That, and I don't think I'm skilled enough to try that yet. I wouldn't want to waste wood by messing up. :]

It's just kiln dried pine... I got it from home depot.

Home Depot will usually cut for free. All you would need for bridges is a drill.

Yeah, they made 30+ cuts for me the other day... I'm sure the guy wanted to kill me Lol.


I still feel like the cage is empty.. Any ideas on what else I can add?

Oh wow! Yeah he might have been less than impressed, especially if they were little pieces. That said, yay company policy!

Eh they were mostly 6" and larger. XD He talked a lot though so he wasn't visibly annoyed with me... I'm just assuming he was irritated after I ran off and got a 7th board. XD

On a side note... Chilly was grooming me for a good 10 minutes just now. He's nibbled occasionally but very rarely... and I don't think he's actually groomed me until now. It was the cutest thing ever<3
