Annie you can't stop posting pictures of Handbag! I love seeing them, and in fact I email most of them to my girlfriend and if a few days go by without any pics, she asks me "What is handbag doing today"
If anyone doesn't like them they don't have to look! (But really, why wouldn't someone like pics of Handbag?!?!) I'm not sure who the "in" group is either.

People don't have to look at a thread they don't want to..I skip a lot of threads. As for chat I have never seen anyone be mean and I too am not sure about an "in group" some people know each other off the forum especially if you go to chinchilla shows or live near each other....maybe that is getting you confused

Well, I guess the crowd has spoken. Everyone loves seeing Handbag and you shouldn't stop posting about his antics.

I agree with the others who said to make a thread specifically for Handbag pictures that way it doesn't push down everyone elses topics (since Handbag is so popular). My guess is this is the only reason anyone would complain.

Don't let it get you down that you don't feel part of the "in" crowd (is there even an "in" crowd?). This is a forum, not highschool. I don't feel part of the "in" crowd but I have made some very good friends here, and I am sure you will do the same.

Guys, just to clarify re-read what she said. She didn't say she's leaving the forum. She said she's going to stop posting pictures and vidoes in favor of only chin related questions.

You don't need to keep begging for something she's already said she's doing. She is staying. She was offended because she erroneously feels that people were unkind to her in chat and made comments about not liking her pictures of Handbag - neither of which were true.

I don't think not posting is a solution to any problem. I do think it would stop any complaints (though I don't know who WOULD complain) if you combined all photos for a month or even a week or two into one thread. That way it's easy to see the rest of the threads people have to post in that section. Handbag does have a large fan base and his threads get bumped quite a bit. I could see some people being disappointed in not seeing their threads at the top for being bumped down by the six most recent Handbag threads. He is an adorable and personable guy though and I don't think anyone really wants you to completely STOP posting pictures.

I'm in chat pretty much 24/7. I have only seen you in there a handful of times and you are always greeted warmly. Chat works in a way that not everyone is included in every conversation, some of us want to talk to a specific person about something and we will. We never tell people they can't talk or comment on our conversations.

Since no one is sure what the "in" group is, I'm going to just say it doesn't exist.

People suck and that's why many of us have pets but I didn't see any public issues here. I obviously wasn't privy to what happened so I won't pass judgement on it.

I've been sick and haven't logged in since last Thursday I think, but this is the last thing I thought I would see when I got back on. I want you to know that through your posts, I've noticed more about my own chinchilla than through anyone elses. Because of your pictures, I was inspired to seek out the products that make a chin look and feel it's best so Chipper could look more like Handbag (more like a beautiful chinchilla should look!). Handbag appears to be a healthy, alert, confident, happy chinchilla. When I posted (more than once, I think) that Handbag was inspiring or that his pics or videos were, I really meant that I was inspired to make more of an effort to spoil my own chin. I was inspired to action rather than just informed. I think we all were. To hear that this is at an end makes me very sad.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel you were dis'd. I can only join in the Handbag adoration club that's formed around your posts as I really enjoyed them as much as the others. And I enjoyed the glimpses into your life as well. But I won't be begging you to continue if you truely want to stop. You're not here to entertain but to share the joys of chinchilla ownership. I've been lax myself in posting pics of my chin so I won't beg you to post yours.

I will give you a heartfelt thank you for posting what you have. I hope you share more in the future and I hope you know I, and many others, shared in the spirit that made you want to share Handbag with us. I look forward to seeing your posts again and hope they are infused with the same joy. Thank you, Annieo.
