wow, i thought I was the only one that panicked lol. My gizmo will just flop down where he pleases and sleep on his side. Many a times I yelled his name, poked him, rattled the cage..pop there he goes... glares at me, and sulks lol. I do agree, they love to scare the crap outta ya!!

marble likes to sleep on his side on his leapin ledge (the larger ones) of all places. What's freaky is he sleeps with his eyes open and until i added another ledge next to the one he sleeps on he would sleep with body parts dangling. He really does look dead when he does this even without the dangling parts because it's such a weird thing for a chin to do. He started the habit when he was small enough to safetly lounge on one. What a crazy boy.

I hear you, I had one three days ago. I enter the room and something isn't right. Chocolate wench on the top right has something not normal, brain goes into overload and starts doing it's omg, omg, heart is going thump thump thump. This is why I don't watch even remotely scary movies.

After 15 seconds of rapid panicking my brain finally pins it - she has two ears on the same side of her head. Hence ensues more staring, a good five seconds of head bobbing suspiciousness (I haven't made it past the edge of the door yet, am a good ten feet away and I take one brave step to the right and maybe a foot closer. Oh, it's an ear colored baby sleeping across her neck. Er, yea.

I walk by myself every night around midnight, have no fear of insects/rodents/snakes/whatever, but isn't it funny how weird little things like that set you off?
