I love living in California...I have a feeling it's just the SB scene that I don't mesh with. Most of the ppl I meet here are either beer sluts, flakes or jerks...but that's because I live next door to ppl that love the Isla Vista scene... so I meet mostly their friends...I think I just need to find a different spot in this sunny state :thumbsup:

the SB scene is a strange one. my boyfriend lives up there and we only go into IV during halloween. that just about fills our IV quota for the year.

I'm originally from San Diego and i LOVE it down there. maybe you should give that a try...:relax:

I am majoring in Business Economics and minoring in Management and Psychology and Social Behavior...but due to budget cuts they're not offering A LOT of classes this quarter so i might not be able to finish the psych minor in time.

I am graduating in June. I'm so excited but need to get on finding one of those..adult...job..thingies.

The campus changed quite a bit since I graduated, but it still has that same feeling when I walk on it. Orange County is a pretty good place to find a job, even with this economy. I'd still advise sending out resumes now though.
My best friend is graduating with a B.S. in Business Admin. from CSUN in a month. She said that CSUN had a lot of problems with not offering many classes either (esp. at night). It took her 7 years to finish, but she did it!

Tell me you have been to Main street in Huntington Beach, and Ruby's on the Pier!!!! That was our hot spot all through college. Recently I found that Balboa has a Ruby's on the Pier as well (it was there before the Huntington Beach one).

Yeah, IV has quite the reputation. Never before have I been to a small area like that, that had so many people that police cars and even motorcycles couldn't fit in the streets due to so many people. They had/have foot patrol everywhere and just arrest people as they walk, and round them up before taking them to the drunk tank/cells. lol Wacky times, and it sure was a sight to see.
