Yea upgrayedd is gonna stay alone and ill play with him twice a day (Or atleast try since he hates being out during the day)
I think he may have been tired lastnight because hes been asleep since i put him in which is odd for him he usually sleeps from like 4 am to noon

Another thought to tack onto this...
So i was told by an ex-breeder that chinnys cant be in sunlight because it causes them to have a stroke or something similar to that...
Is this true?
I know i read its bad because it will make them hot but where i wanna put my chinny is not hot its just closer to the window since he seems to like the breeze

chins can get heatstroke. they are not like people, we can sweat... when we sweat and air hits us it cools us by bringing out temperature down. chinchillas cannot sweat.. so if they are under direct sunlight, or in a warm climate they will overheat very fast. the only method of cooling they have are their ears... imagine if that was the only way you could cool yourself off while wearing the densest coat ever... wouldnt it suck to be in direct sunlight?

Oh ok well i was asking because the light sits his cage more where it is now but he gets the breeze from my window which he seems to really enjoy
Ill make sure he doesnt get hot (He is mostly shaded)

i dont really think the breeze will do anything for him. maybe he smells something different, but like i said... blowing air, such as a fan or breeze doesnt really help to cool them off.
