I'm brand spanking new to this chin mommy thing, and I will recieve my wonderful baby boy on January 2nd. I'm currently gathering information and supplies. And excitement. I'm going to have tons of questions, but I guess thats part of the reason you're all here. And to converse about chins!

Welcome to the forum! There's a wealth of knowledge on here (PSST... I have to mention.. chinnies seem to multiply mysteriously when you buy one. Less than a year ago I got my first fluffbutt, and now I have 4!):hilarious:

I decided on a chin when I saw one in a pet store one day getting food for my dogs and it seemed asleep and when I bent down to look at it it popped its head out at me and it was love at first sight. I promptly went home to do reaserch and convince my boyfriend that I needed one in my life.
And to pictures, I have some that I took last weekend when I was at the bredder's house, so I'll post them (forgive the blurryness please, my boy isn't to great with the focus on the camera)

Also, if I get more than one, I'm pretty sure my biyfriend will kill me. But maybe I'll make him fall in love too... Muhaha!

same here...In December of last year I bought my first. He was a standard boy and he passed away in May. Then in August I decided I just couldn't live without chinchillas so I bought 2 from breeders on here. I am leaving in the morning to travel 3 hours to get 2 more. It turns into an addiction I think.
