Stephanie: Zoo Poo Gal!
Hi! I am new to the site and to the world of Chins. I have had my chin, Herby for almost 2 years now, after being given him by my sister. He was a rescue after being abandoned by his owner, who asked her to chin sit but never came back for him. Herby had a cage mate at my sisters house, but Dusty and Herby did not get along, so I am now the proud owner of Herby!
I was apprehensive at first about owning a Chin, but soon came to love my little fur ball and he has made a permanent place in both my family and my heart.
I also own other pets who are just as special to me. I have a bull dog named Rainie Jane, along with 2 daschunds, Pugsy and Gingerbread and 2 cats, Lucky and Shadow Bug and assorted fish and a hammie, Tom. We had a Golden Retriever but she went to that big field in the sky a few days ago, after a lengthy illness.
I also have 3 boys and a dear hubby who is also in love with Herby Chin and is wanting to get another one to add to our family. We live in Georgia, where we are going to retire in 4 years after 20 years of Navy life, along with our menagerie of pets and kids.
